SITU is the research platform for activists, journalists and every-day citizens to share testimonies of events worldwide.
(firmenpresse) - We would like to introduce you to SITU, the research platform to explore current events. The mission of the project is to offer an innovative and efficient way to find information on current happenings worldwide.
Users must register first before entering the site and create a personal profile of which parts are visible to the SITU community. In order to contribute to the platform, users can write Facts and Requests, and respond to Requests. They can also interact with each other by sending private massages. As a Reader you can find information that is provided by contributors right from the site and with expertise in one of SITU’s focus areas. To become a Reader, please register on www.situ.it.
As a Contributor you can write Facts and hereby support research on current events. Also, you can pose Requests and search for information that match to your specific research interests.
The high quality of SITU’s content is ensured via multiple mechanisms and a rigid Rulebook. The rules and policies as expressed in the Rulebook apply unconditionally to all activities. To become a Contributor, please send an application outlining your expertise and motivation to: www.situ.it/apply
SITU is an online Facts Platform, launched on the 10th of June 2013, by the Limited Liability Company Good Cop Bad Cop GmbH in Berlin, Germany. SITU is a free of charge website on which users can request and share high-impact Facts on current political or social events worldwide. The goal is to improve the real-time coverage of these events and the accessibility of reliable information of political and/or social relevance.
