New SUNTIGUA PV Inverters Deliver High Efficiency with Easier System Interfacing and Monitoring
Products meet VDE-AR-N 4105, work with Ripple Controlled Receivers
(PresseBox) - 02.2014 - SUNTENSION GmbH, one of Germany's most experienced Photovoltaic (PV) power conversion companies, today released two new highly efficient three-phase inverters designed for use in PV systems. The SUNTIGUA 8000T and SUNTIGUA 15000T comply with the latest German standards VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE0126-1-1/A1, as well as the safety requirements of IEC 62109-2 (Safety of power converters for use in photovoltaic power systems - Part 2: Particular requirements for inverters).
The new inverters operate at greater than 97% conversion efficiency and come in a die-cast housing, providing better performance and higher reliability. Features include a newly-designed graphic LCD display, data logger, and Ethernet and optional Wi-Fi solutions, allowing users to easily monitor their PV systems. Another important feature is improved connectability; the Suntigua interface allows direct connection to a "Ripple Controlled Receiver" (RCR). This unique feature enables an installer to easily connect a SUNTIGUA inverter to an RCR without additional high-cost devices. An optional AC-contact is available to maximize self-consumption.
