Munich, 22 November 2010 - 118000 AG, the operator of 118000, the first
German telephone switchboard service, today announced that it has signed an
exclusive sales agreement with the Düsseldorf-based marketing company
Urbas|Kehrberg GmbH. The partnership covers the production and marketing of
the 118000 Lost&Found key tag, which enables anyone finding the object
attached to the tag to get in touch with its owner in a simple and direct
way via the 118000 service. This immediately removes the problem faced
after losing a key or a suitcase. For 118000 AG, the partnership forms a
key part of its strategy to raise the profile of the 118000 switchboard
service and increase call volume. 'We are delighted to have acquired such a
distinguished marketing partner for our Lost&Found key tags,' comments Dr
Klaus Harisch, Chief Executive Officer of 118000 AG.
Urbas|Kehrberg GmbH became known throughout Germany during the 2010 FIFA
World Cup as the license owner, producer and marketer of the vuvuzela horns
used during the tournament in South Africa. In Germany alone,
Urbas|Kehrberg achieved sales of over five million fan horns. The marketing
experts are enthusiastic about the 118000 AG product and forecast that
marketing for the Lost&Found key tag will be just as successful a project.
'We believe that the 118000 Lost&Found tags represent pure added value for
any consumer and that they will be extremely well received by the German
market,' comments sales specialist Frank P. Urbas, Managing Partner at
Urbas|Kehrberg GmbH. 'One might describe the project as offering the
maximum of security for a very modest price,' he concludes. Marketing will
start in January 2011.
