St. Gallen, 23 November 2010 - CLEANTECH INVEST AG (ISIN: CH0034183175,
Ticker Frankfurt: 4CT, Ticker Berne: CTI, www.cleantech-invest.ch) - a
Berne and Frankfurt Stock Exchange listed Growth Capital Fund focusing on
Clean Technology Investments announces its investment of US$ 1.0 million in
Identive Group.
Cleantech Invest AG has led a group of Swiss institutional investors and
has been joined with other investors in Europe and the United States in a
PIPE transaction (Private Investment in Public Equity) totaling US$ 10.35
million in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and NASDAQ listed company. In the
Private Placement, Cleantech Invest AG and the other participating
investors acquired common stock at a premium of US$ 0.125 over Identive's
NASDAQ closing share price of US$ 2.40 on November 12, 2010 along with
warrants to purchase the same amount of common stock, exercisable for a
period of five years, with a cash exercise price of US$ 2.65. The proceeds
are anticipated to be used to fund Identive's future acquisition and growth
activity and for general corporate purposes.
