Destiny Media Technologies Announces Filing of Global Patents for Cross-Platform Playerless Streaming Technology
Vancouver, BC – February 12, 2014 – Destiny Media Technologies (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQX: DSNY), the global standard for the secure distribution of pre-release music to radio and the developer of a new cross-platform playerless video streaming format is pleased to announce that it has filed, and is in the process of filing, patent applications relating to the techniques that power its new Clipstream® cross-platform playerless streaming video technology. These new global applications will rely on an August 2011 priority date set when the original provisional application was filed. Seven patents for this technology are pending in the US.
New applications are being filed in: Australia, Canada, China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, New Zealand,Russia, South Africa and Singapore.
