“My passion is to decrease violence in the community,” Clancy said of her work. “As Learning Difficulties result in anger and frustration, the aim of this book is to prevent the anger and frustration spilling over into violence.”
Written by an experienced teacher, certified Special Education Adviser, trained counselor and life coach, Clancy provides readers with everything they need to know about learning difficulties, how they develop and how to diagnose and treat them effectively.
“Learning Difficulties Explained” is packed with tested and proven-to-work information, including:
• simple explanations about the types of learning difficulties
• ways to recognize each type of learning difficulty
• how to remediate visual processing difficulties
• the best way to stop auditory processing difficulties
“I love sharing the knowledge I’ve acquired in my varied and extensive career as a teacher, counselor, consultant, life coach and presenter in order to help others,” Clancy said. “I’m passionate about early identification of learning difficulties. My focus is on prevention if at all possible.”
Clancy has worked extensively in the area of special education as a teacher and consultant and in private practice. She has spent years researching Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder internationally.
Clancy started writing when she was diagnosed with a serious health problem. At that point, she felt compelled to share with others all the knowledge she had acquired.
Clancy is the author of several other ebooks that offer parents guidance on how to deal with children with various learning disabilities and struggles.
