JK Wohnbau acquires residential property in Bogenhausen
First investment from IPO proceeds
Munich - JK Wohnbau AG has acquired a property in the much sought after,
upscale city district of Bogenhausen. The Munich-based developer of private
residential real estate is thereby once again underlining its business
strategy of offering apartments in interesting locations. 'With this
project, which entails an investment volume of around EUR 25 million, we
have realised the first investment from the JK Wohnbau AG IPO proceeds, and
further projects of this type are to follow,' commented Dr. Josef L.
Kastenberger, founder and CEO of JK Wohnbau AG.
Around 130 apartments are to be created on the site, where a former
residential and commercial property from the 1970s is currently located.
The renowned Munich city district of Bogenhausen is regarded as a highly
desirable residential location in the city. Here, tradition, in the shape
of the Friedensengel statue and the old village core around the St. George
Church, blends with the modernity of the office buildings at the
Arabellapark. Residents of this city district enjoy access to all of the
pleasant amenities of metropolitan living, whether it be the perfect
infrastructure of businesses to meet everyday requirements, doctors,
schools and kindergartens, excellent public transport connections, or
cultural aspects such as the Prinzregententheater.
