New CFO at Kontron

Eching, near Munich, January 11, 2011. The Supervisory Board of Kontron AG
has appointed Dr. Jürgen Kaiser-Gerwens (48) as the company's new Chief
Financial Officer. Dr. Kaiser-Gerwens, who was born in Detmold is married
and has two children. He studied economics before holding various
managerial positions as a financial expert for companies with global
operations, and in various sectors. Most recently he was active as CFO at
an internationally renowned, renewable energy technology company.
'With his many years of career experience and broad economic expertise, as
well as his proven specialist knowledge in the IT and controlling areas, he
will provide sustained support to Kontron AG on its path of centralization
and globalization,' commented CEO Ulrich Gehrmann.
Dr. Jürgen Kaiser-Gerwens will take up his new post on February 15, 2011.
