Expansion of Partnership at Zurmont Madison Private Equity
Zurich - February 8, 2010: Zurmont Madison Management is expanding their
partnership. As of February 1, Daniel Anliker, Kurt Hitz, and Andreas
Ziegler were admitted into the circle of partners. The three investment
professionals have been members of the team for years and contributed to
the successful development of Zurmont Madison to one of the leading buyout
specialists in Switzerland.
Daniel Anliker is a graduate mechanical engineer and possesses a degree in
business administration from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in
Zurich. He has held several CEO positions in the manufacturing industry
during the course of his career, including Alu Menziken, Alcan Aluminum,
and Studer Professional. He has been working at Zurmont Madison since 2008
and has headed, among other tasks, the portfolio company SMB SA as CEO ad
interim.
Kurt Hitz is a business economist and possesses an Executive Masters in
Corporate Finance from the Institut für Finanzdienstleistungen (IFZ) in
Zug. Prior to starting at Zurmont Madison in 2004, he was director of
Controlling at the Swisslog Group, finance director of Swisslog Asia
Pacific, and director of Accounting&Controlling at Landis&Gyr (Europe).
Andreas Ziegler is a business economist (MBA, University of Zurich) and a
Swiss certified public accountant. He started at Zurmont Madison in 2005
and previously was CFO at a private Swiss biotechnology company, Advisory
Manager at Deloitte in Switzerland and the USA, and worked in marketing at
Unilever Switzerland. In addition to investment management, Andreas Ziegler
is also responsible for Investor Relations for the funds managed by Zurmont
Madison.
