OHB Technology AG announcing provisional unaudited figures for 2010 and
providing preliminary guidance for 2011
Increase in total revenues in 2010 to around EUR 460 million (+ 43%)
EBITDA for 2010 of around EUR 32 million
EBIT for 2010 of around EUR 22 million
Further growth expected in 2011:
+ Total revenues in excess of EUR 600 million
+ Operating result EBITDA of more than EUR 41 million
+ Increase in EBIT to over EUR 27 million
Bremen, February 10, 2011. In keeping with its tradition, OHB Technology AG
(Prime Standard, ISIN: DE0005936124) is publishing its provisional
unaudited figures for 2010 and providing preliminary guidance for 2011 at
today's 7th Capital Market Day. The members of the Management Board and
other experts from various parts of the Group are meeting today with
analysts, bank representatives, investors and journalists to provide a more
extensive view of future projects, recent acquisitions and current trends
in aviation and space technology.
According to the provisional figures, total revenues rose by around 43% in
2010 to around EUR 460 million, up roughly EUR 140 million on the previous
year. At a preliminary figure of around EUR 32 million, operating result
EBITDA is on a par with the previous year's figure. This results in EBIT of
around EUR 22 million, thus also matching the previous year's level.
Therefore, OHB has exceeded previous revenue forecasts, while earnings
match the earlier guidance given for 2010.
The Management Board expects continued growth in 2011, with consolidated
total revenues in the OHB Group climbing sharply again by some EUR 140
million to more than EUR 600 million (growth of around 30%), underpinned by
all business units, whose total revenues will be up on 2010 levels. In
particular, the newly acquired Aerotech Peissenberg in the Space
Transportation&Aerospace Structures business unit will contribute around
EUR 60 million. At over EUR 41 million and more than EUR 27 million,
respectively, EBITDA and EBIT will also be up on the previous year in 2011.
OHB Technology AG's full audited consolidated financial statements for 2010
will be presented in detail at the upcoming annual press conference on
March 16, 2011 in Bremen and at the analyst conference held afterwards on
the same day in Frankfurt / Main.
