TOM TAILOR opening flagship store in Stuttgart
Hamburg, 21 February 2011.
The lifestyle group TOM TAILOR is expanding its retail branch network in
Germany. The fashion company will open another flagship store on
Königstrasse in Stuttgart on 24 February 2011. In addition to Hamburg,
Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Frankfurt am Main, this will be the fifth flagship
store in Germany. TOM TAILOR will present its lifestyle world on three
floors with about 350 m2.
'We want to attain dynamic growth in the retail industry in 2011 as well,
including in thriving business centres like Stuttgart. We have undertaken
systematic further development of our sales areas - for our brands TOM
TAILOR Casual and TOM TAILOR Denim - underlining the attractiveness and
acceptance of our two brand profiles in a way that makes an effective
appeal to target groups. We are now offering our customers an attractive
shopping atmosphere in the premium sector - this is a decisive factor in
driving our expansion strategy,' according to Dieter Holzer, chairman of
the TOM TAILOR Group.
The TOM TAILOR casual lines occupy two whole floors with over 160 m2,
forming the House of Casual. TOM TAILOR WOMEN Casual is presented on the
ground floor for lifestyle-oriented women. A special highlight is the
catwalk featuring shop window dummies for a perfect look and feel. Men can
find the sporting TOM TAILOR MEN Casual collections on the top floor. The
interior, oriented to male buyers, is supplemented by a lounge in
characteristic club style. The link between the two casual fashion worlds
is provided by an impressive stairway with an outsized picture gallery.
The TOM TAILOR Denim Male and Female for the young fashion generation
between 15 and 25 is available in the basement. The TOM TAILOR Denim store
concept has been implemented on the 180 m2 sales area and rounded off by
furniture highlights specially developed for this area. Apart from perfect
product staging, an outsized shelf element with integrated LCD monitors
also lets you experience the current marketing campaign. Graffiti on the
floor and matching vintage elements emphasise the cool TOM TAILOR Denim
styles.
Matching accessories supplement the diverse product range on each floor.
New as well is the room scent, which endows the TOM TAILOR flagship store
with an unmistakable touch.
At the end of 2010 the fashion group had over 158 of its own retail stores.
The European branch network is to be expanded by 60 to 70 retail stores in
2011.
