Extending the range of diaphragm valves for the GEMÜ 673 series

Extending the range of diaphragm valves for the GEMÜ 673 series

ID: 334556

Originally, this specially sealed version was developed from the GEMÜ 601, 612 and 673 basic types to suit particular customer requirements, and the new GEMÜ 673P9 version will now extend the current portfolio

(PresseBox) - The manually operated valve is available in nominal sizes DN 8 to DN 50, and has an additional seal provided by silicone O-rings which seal the interior of the bonnet housing from the outside. This prevents, among other things, lubricant which is normally used for lubricating the spindle, from leaking when autoclaving. It also prevents moisture and dirt from entering the bonnet interior.
The GEMÜ 673P9 diaphragm valve is autoclave-capable and sterilizable, as well as CIP/SIP capable.
As with the basic types, a standard seal adjuster and optical position indicator are also integrated in the new version. Thanks to their compact design, the valve bonnets are also suitable for use on multi-port valve blocks and tank valves.

GEMÜ will continue to establish itself in future markets with its international growth strategy. To achieve this, GEMÜ has opened a new Production and Logistics Centre in 2013.
A broad based modular system and adapted automation components mean that predefined standard products and customised solutions can be combined to make over 400,000 product versions.
