Greenworld Wind Power Co. Ltd. (Greenworld Wind): Deutsche Börse symbol:
GWD (www.greenworldpower.ca), announced today that it is working with the
Free Port Area of Bataan (FAB) in the Philippines to install a wind farm to
provide electricity for the continuing expansion of the FAB.
It is anticipated that the wind farm will consist of 10 x 500 Kw wind
turbines for a total of 5Mw capacity. The Company is currently conducting
feasibility studies to determine the best location for the wind farm.
The FAB is a special economic development zone designed to attract
industrial and commercial business to the Municipality of Mariveles,
Province of Bataan. The FAB was created in July, 2007, under the Federal
government's Republic Act No. 9728. The FAB shall provide incentives such
as tax and duty-free importations of raw materials, capital and equipment
to registered enterprises located therein.
