Solutronic AG enters the Australian marketplace

Köngen, 4 April 2011 Solutronic AG is very pleased to reveal its latest
business move - the closing of a deal with two distribution partners in the
Australian marketplace. Clear Solar and Solectra are experienced and
established Australian wholesalers and systems suppliers, and Solutronic
has signed a framework agreement covering an initial volume of 10 MW with
each of them.
Managing Director of Solectra, Jonathan Taylor, expressed his pleasure with
this new collaboration: 'The Solutronic range of transformerless inverters
complements the existing ranges of inverters currently held in our
portfolio. We feel there will always be a market in Australia for
state-of-the-art, quality-oriented products with a German heritage, such as
those of Solutronic. Together with the technical support, after-care
programme and very competitive price position, we believe the SOLPLUS range
offers a significant value proposition to our clients.'
Solutronic feels its product portfolio is well placed to become a big hit
on the Australian market. 'The Australian government has set ambitious
targets to reduce the share of fossil fuels in its energy generation
balance and is backing this move with public subsidy programmes. Our
inverters are a perfect fit with the conditions and requirements that
prevail on the Australian continent. We are looking forward to a fruitful

responsible for Sales, Marketing and Administration at Solutronic AG.
Following successful certification in January 2011 of its SOLPLUS 25, 35,
50 and 55 inverters in conformance with Australian standards AS 4777.2/3
and AS 3100, Solutronic AG has now taken a decisive step towards tapping
into the highly promising Australian marketplace.
