ORCO Germany S.A. announces the successful leasing of around 2,000 m²in
the H2Office. With this, the showcase for the future development of the
inner harbour of Duisburg has further enhanced its appeal.
The PEAG Personal GmbH has signed a lease contract on over 900 m²of office
space in the second construction phase of the H2Office. The certified
company for personnel development and employment transfer will move to its
new location in June this year. The lease contract was brokered by CUBION
Immobilien AG.
Digital Tempus GmbH&Co. KG has been acquired as a further tenant. With an
area of 254 m², the company has set up its European headquarters on the 5th
floor. The 100 % subsidiary of the US American Digital Tempus, Inc.
specialises among other things in the development of Datawarehouse and
Business intelligence solutions and was advised by BNP Paribas Essen on the
leasing.
In addition, the software developer prodot GmbH has also secured an area of
over 840 m²on the fifth floor. CUBION Immobilien AG was responsible for
the leasing.
ORCO Germany has commissioned NAI apollo asset management with the leasing
coordination. Since taking over the mandate, it has successfully increased
the leasing quota from 23.50 % to 40 %.
The H2Office was the first building in Duisburg to be awarded the most
important quality award for sustainable building and has received a
pre-certification in gold from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges
Bauen (DGNB) - the German Sustainable Building Council. The final award of
the DGNB seal of quality is expected in early April. The technical
highlights of the building include the use of geothermal energy for
component cooling using energy piles and intelligent building management
system for controlling the heating and cooling system by which the tenants
can reduce up to 30% of their energy costs. The Hamburg architects Bothe
Richter Teherani designed the office complex. The owner of the H2Office
is H2O GmbH&Co. KG.
