Seesmart LEDs cut costs at high-tech defense production facility
Simi Valley, CA, USA -Seesmart Holdings, Inc. (DE:APF) The
4-million-square-foot California production facility of a global technology
and defense company now shines brightly with Seesmart LEDs. The defense
company is replacing all 4-foot fluorescent tube lights with
energy-efficient LED tube lights from Seesmart Holdings, Inc. and thereby
cutting its energy use dramatically.
Seesmart's products will illuminate the corridors, stairwells, and
manufacturing floor of the defense production facility. Containing no
mercury, featuring a shatter-proof design, and free of UV, the new lighting
is more friendly to people and the environment. Additionally, the new LEDs
use 63% less energy than the old fluorescents. Because the facility
requires lighting 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, this amounts to tens of
thousands of dollars in annual energy savings. The payback period for each
new LED light is just 13 months.
