Turn Your $1 Alzheimer Society Donation into $3, This Sunday at Bulk Barn
(firmenpresse) - AURORA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/19/14 -- Bulk Barn Foods Limited, in honour of World Alzheimer Day, is participating in a corporate and franchisee dollar match promotion on Sunday, September 21st, benefiting the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
This Sunday, visit any Bulk Barn location across Canada and when you donate $1, corporate office and their franchisees will each contribute $1, generating a $3 donation for the charity. All of the money raised stays in the local communities to assist with Alzheimer Society programs and services. This dollar match will wrap-up Bulk Barn's Coffee Break® fundraising program, which has been running since September 5th.
Bulk Barn has proudly supported the Alzheimer Society Coffee Break® fundraiser over the past 10 years, with all stores participating annually. Since then, Bulk Barn has raised over $1.6 million.
According to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, over 747,000 Canadians live with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias and that number is expected to reach well over one million in the next 20 years, a fact that highlights the importance of this cause.
