Labelprint24 chooses Screen's award-winning UV inkjet technology
(firmenpresse) - Now it has also arrived in Germany: Labelprint24, one of the leading e-commerce providers of labels, duplex and booklet labels, is the first German label manufacturer to use the world's most advanced digital label printing system, the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV, in its production. The futuristic-looking system was installed in mid June in Großenhain, Saxony.
Labelprint24 is the second European label manufacturer to invest in this hi-tech web press printer. The e-commerce provider has completely switched its label production to digital technologies.
The Screen Truepress Jet L350UV was awarded Best Digital Label Printing Solution of 2014 by the European Digital Press Association (EDP). The association brings together more than 18 trade magazines from across Europe.
But the real winners of this German premiere are the label customers of Labelprint24. The new system combines the advantages of digital printing with what today's customers expect from a label manufacturer: personalization, high capacity, quick turnarounds and low cost per label with first-class print quality. Production capacity has doubled.
"Our Screen and HP digital printing systems complement each other perfectly," said Managing Director Stefan Harder. "The Screen is a long-distance performer and ideal for large, medium and small print runs. Our company now has the right digital technology for every order."
The performance statistics are impressive. With a print speed of 50 m per minute at a web width of 350 mm, the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV is one of the fastest label printing machines in the sector. Photo-realistic quality, fast job turnarounds and stable output are standout features.
Combined with the exceptionally small droplet size, a print resolution of 600 x 600 dpi ensures pinpoint-sharp images and text. The printheads are equipped with an automatic cleaning function, and maintenance only takes 15 minutes per day maximum.
