New IP Integration Between Lync and CX-E Elevates Enterprise Capabilities of Lync

This integration creates an easy migration path for enterprises looking to transition their call control (PBX) infrastructure to Lync and enables the centralization of voice applications across multiple locations and an evolving PBX environment.
A major trend in the UC market is Microsoft Lync's increasing market share, with the enterprise transition to Lync taking shape in one of two ways: either a business will move to Lync as its sole PBX platform or a business will integrate Lync into its existing PBX environment for a specific department or branch office. All of these CX-E features strengthen and enhance the core capabilities of Lync 2013.
