Hamburg - 19 April 2011 - The final figures for financial year 2010 of KWG
Kommunale Wohnen AG, long-term portfolio holders of German residential
properties, show that it has significantly exceeded all of its earnings
indicators as well as its provisional figures again. With its revenues
unchanged at EUR 19.8 million, its result from ordinary operations
increased by 232 percent to EUR 10.7 million after previously amounting to
EUR 3.2 million. Consolidated earnings improved by 159 percent to EUR 8.6
million after EUR 3.3 million, thus causing earnings per share to more than
double from EUR 0.39 in 2009 to EUR 0.87 in 2010.
As at 31 December 2010, cash and cash equivalents jumped to EUR 8.7 million
compared with EUR 7.3 million in 2009. The equity ratio improved to 38.1
percent compared with 34.5 percent in 2009.
KWG Kommunale Wohnen AG estimates a continuance of its positive performance
in the current financial year 2011. The aim is to significantly advance the
company's growth both organically and through acquisitions.
