Willkie client Arkema, France's leading chemicals producer, acquired last
Friday the resins business of Total SA for EUR 550 million. These
activities involve approximately 1,750 employees at 20 sites around the
world.
The transaction is subject to approval of the respective antitrust
authorities.
Arkema is a world-class producer of industrial chemicals with annual sales
of EUR4.4 billion, 13,800 employees, 80 industrial sites in more than 40
countries, and six research and development centers.
The multidisciplinary Willkie team was led by Paris partners
