Appoints New COO and New Global Strategic Marketing Executive

The company has named Dr. Wilson Constantine as COO and appointed Mike Dashefsky global strategic marketing executive. These new positions were created due to the company's rapid expansion and growth, and will aid in the development of strategic initiatives that further the company's commitment to helping hospitals meet their clinical and financial challenges -- while providing better patient outcomes.
As COO, Dr. Constantine will manage all corporate operations for Nihon Kohden America, including strategic management initiatives, planning, sales and marketing strategy and overseeing operational efficiencies. Dr. Constantine has over two decades of experience in the fields of medicine and medical devices, having most recently served as president and CEO for Monarch Medical Technologies. He also previously held the position of vice president, commercial operations for Stryker Corporation, a medical device and equipment manufacturing firm.
In his new role, Dashefsky, who first joined the company in 2001, will focus on developing branding, marketing and sales strategies for Nihon Kohden America's patient monitoring business -- both in the United States and internationally. In his previous position with Nihon Kohden America, Dashefsky helped to establish the company's reputation for providing exceptional service, clinical support and product quality.
