Vilmaris gathers way: the Hamburg based ship investment company takes
over dry bulk vessel 'VIL Baltic'

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Hamburg, 28th April 2011 - Hamburg based ship investment company Vilmaris
GmbH&Co. KGaA expands the existing fleet and takes over supramax dry bulk
vessel on 28th April 2011 in Fuzhou, China.

The 'VIL Baltic' is a dry bulk vessel with 57,000 tons capacity, which was
built in 2010 by Qingshan Ship Yard in China. The ship was purchased on
16th September 2010 from the Greek ship owner Libro Doro S.A. c/o Meadway
Shipping&Trading Inc. for USD 33 Mio. The purchase price is well below
the historical average for resales and approximately on the same level as
the 10 year average for 5 year old second hand vessels and as such is very
beneficial.

The ship is equipped with cranes and grabs, which enables the exploitation
of new and emerging markets further to existing main freight routes and
independency from ground infrastructures. Especially growing markets of
South East Asia and India can be served flexibly.

The VIL Baltic is chartered out to a stock listed Korean logistic
corporation for 16.475 USD/day for 58 - 62 months. This long time charter
contract enables a positive stable cash flow in comparison to the purchase
price.

Vilmaris is listed at Hamburg stock exchange since June 2009 and focuses on
the acquisition and subsequent chartering of midsized container and dry
bulk vessels. The company plans to build up a diversified portfolio. The
company's aim is to develop a diversified portfolio. By means of active
portfolio-management Vilmaris will invest according to latest market
developments and will seize opportunities arising from cyclical shipping

markets and through dynamic price developments.
