Toronto, Canada - (For immediate release) - April 29, 2011
Hutchison Minerals Co. Ltd. (www.hutchisonminerals.com), Deutsche Börse
(Frankfurt Exchange) ticker symbol: HZ0, advises that based on the positive
test results achieved exploring an initial 40 hectare area of the Tawi-Tawi
prospect, it will expand the tested acreage to a total of 200 hectares.
During the initial study conducted, 40 shallow test pits were dug at 100
meters spacing. Compass and tape traverse method was employed to pinpoint
the exact location of test pits and sampling point. The estimated resource
in the first 40 hectares, at depth of 2 meters using a specific gravity of
1.3, is 1,040,000 wet metric tons (WMT) with a grade of 1% Ni, 0.6% Co and
32% Fe2O3.
The Company will utilize the same techniques employed on the initial 40
hectares for the additional 160 hectares to be tested.
