Merger Clearances Achieved for the Public Tender Offer by Amerigon
Odelzhausen, Germany - May 3, 2011 - The necessary merger clearances for
the public tender offer issued by Amerigon Europe GmbH, a one hundred
percent subsidiary of Amerigon, Inc., Michigan, USA, on 11 April 2011 to
the shareholders of W.E.T. AG for the acquisition of all W.E.T.-shares at a
purchase price of EUR 40.00 per share have been satisfied. The waiting
period under the US-American 'Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act'
of 1976 has expired without the Federal Trade Commission having ordered a
further enquiry. Already before, the Ukrainian cartel authority, the
'Antimonopoly Committee', had granted the equally necessary merger
clearance under Ukrainian law.
