Public Tender Offer by Amerigon Completed
Odelzhausen, Germany - 1 June 2011 - The public tender offer issued by
Amerigon Europe GmbH, a one hundred percent subsidiary of Amerigon, Inc.,
Michigan, USA, on 11 April 2011 to the shareholders of W.E.T. AG for the
acquisition of all W.E.T.-shares at a purchase price of EUR 40.00 per share
(the 'Offer') has been completed. On 26 May 2011, 12 p.m. CEST, the
additional acceptance period for the Offer pursuant to Section 16 para. 2
sentence 1 of the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act
(Wertpapiererwerbs- undÜbernahmegesetz, WpÜG) has expired. Until the
expiry of the further acceptance period the Offer has been accepted for in
total 2,319,078 W.E.T.-shares. This corresponds to a proportion of approx.
72.47 % of the registered share capital of W.E.T. AG and - taking into
account the 159,988 W.E.T.-shares held by W.E.T. AG in treasury stock,
which do not bear rights - approx. 76.29% of the voting rights.
