As farmers from the West Country and Somerset urge David Cameron to speak up for them at this month’s UN Climate Summit in New York, following record flood levels, Peterborough-based Enduramaxx urges farmers to exploit the bad weather and to store this free resource in suitable rainwater tanks for when needed.
Campaigners and farmers alike this week urged David Cameron to take action at the UN Climate Summit 2014 in New York, in a year where Somerset and the West Country has experienced alarmingly high rainfall and flooding. A number of charities join their pleas, including; Christian Aid, Greenpeace, the National Trust, the Women’s Institute and the Wildlife Trust, as well as businesses that include; Ikea and Unilever, amongst others. The campaigners are asking David Cameron to take ‘bold action’ in order to protect their homes, lifestyles, environments and businesses, including farming and agricultural, from the effects of climate change.
Plastic water tank specialist, Enduramaxx, urges those working in farming and agriculture to exploit the unpredictable weather and to collect rainwater run-off from large roof areas. The company, which manufactures and supplies an array of tanks for farming, including; cone bottom tanks, molasses tanks, vertical storage tanks and horizontal storage tanks, also specialises in providing a number of rainwater harvesting solutions.
Enduramaxx rainwater tanks collect and store rainwater in optimum conditions. Made from a single piece of rotationally-moulded, UV-stabilised polyethylene, the tanks are rugged and protect rainwater against the elements for when it is needed. As the UK’s weather becomes less predictable, having large volumes of water on standby is very much a bonus, particularly in light of potential water restrictions in farming and reported impending mains water price rises.
