PR Global Concept(firmenpresse) - Effective October 1, 2006 .- PR Global Concept out of Moenchengladbach/Germany has finalized a Consulting Agreement with US – Canadian company EDGEWATER Foods international Inc. (OTCBB: EDWT). The contract has a 2 year term.
Edgewater Foods Internationla Inc. is the first, fully integrated shell fish producer in Canada.
Providing a tremendous competition edge with a unique hatchery technology on extensive research and development over the past 15 years, financed both by public and private funding.
For the coming 20 years Edgewater has secured expansion options along the east and west coasts of Vancouver island. These facilities represent the largest private marine research hatchery and the first fully integrated shellfish production. It is anticipated that the company.
Could achieve revenues up to 100 Mil USD by 2010. The current key product is the Scallop which are excellent in taste and which are considered as being an excellent source for proteins.
In spring 2006 350.000.000 larvae had been spawned.
In October 2006 750.000 pcs will be harvested. Each piece is priced in average 1,08 USD.
In April 2007 there will be 4.000.000 pieces ready for Harvest and in summer 2008 10.000.000 units are expected to be harvested. By the year 2010 it is anticipated that
100.000.000 units will be harvested. For all production years there are delivery agreements in place with customers throughout Northamerica.
By mid of 2007 the company will start the professional hatchery of sablefish called „Blackscod“. Yearly capacity will be approx. 100.000 Fish which is intended to be ramped up to 3 Mil fish with an average weigth of 3 kilos/each. The price for Sablefish currently is set.
At 10 USD/Kg. On full scale capacity the company could accomplish revenues of 90 Mio USD on a yearly basis for sable fish alone.
PR Global Concept will take over all international PR & IR tasks on behalf of Edgewater throughout Europe. The main focus of PR Global Concepts activities is made on Corporate Profiling and Financial Communications. In a first step PR Global Concept will create awareness in the European Fish- and Fish-Hatchery Industry in Europe, in order to identify potential cooperation-partners and/or M&A potentials. PR Global concept also will try to open new sales markets in Europe on behalf of Edgewater. In a second step PR Global Concept will approach potential group of private equity investors being specialized in “Green” environmentally friendly (or sustainable seafood) production in order to support
Expansion financing for Edgewater.
