WiLAN Subsidiary Enters License With Union Wireless
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/30/14 -- Top intellectual property licensing company, WiLAN (TSX: WIN) (NASDAQ: WILN), today announced that a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company has granted Union Wireless a license to certain patents related to the management of wireless cellular phone services, including current generation LTE networks.
"Union Wireless is the third U.S. carrier to recognize the value of our network management technologies," said Jim Skippen, President & CEO. "This program continues to make good progress and we look forward to negotiating additional license agreements in the future."
The consideration to be paid by Union Wireless to WiLAN and all other terms of the license agreement are confidential.
