Damage and loss of production at the Rumsey oil and gas field
Steve Beshear, the governor of Kentucky, has declared a state of emergency
after torrential rain and heavy storms in the southeast of USA.
Rumsey oil and gas field, McLean County, Kentucky on May 9th 2011:
Caused by last week's heavy rain the oil and gas field of the Rendato
Corporation was completely flooded just like the whole city of Rumsey. The
extent of the damage is still not entirely known at this point, a partially
resumption of the production can be expected in 8 - 10 weeks at the
earliest.
