Homeless Connect - October 19
The Shaw Conference Centre is a proud founding partner of , taking place Sunday, October 19 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This one-day, one-stop event provides free services to those who are homeless or at-risk-of-becoming homeless. Under the stewardship of , Homeless Connect serves 1,500 guests thanks to the involvement of 400 volunteers, 65 service providers and over 20 community sponsors. Guests receive a free hot meal and services such as eye care, dental, haircuts, legal services, library books, phone and internet access, employment and counselling services.
