Kirkland Lake Gold Announces Management Appointment
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/06/14 -- Kirkland Lake Gold Inc., (TSX: KGI) (AIM: KGI) ("KL Gold" or the "Company") an operating and exploration gold company with operations in Ontario, Canada, today announces the appointment of Suzette N. Ramcharan as Director of Investor Relations.
Ms. Ramcharan is a seasoned investor relations ("IR") professional with over fourteen years of experience in the mining industry, with a particular focus on exploration, development and producing companies in the gold sector. Ms. Ramcharan's expertise includes brand and relationship management, institutional and retail investor engagement and corporate communications.
Prior to joining KL Gold, Ms. Ramcharan implemented and managed a strategic IR program at St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. since 2009. She has also held roles with publicly traded mining companies including Gold Eagle Mines Ltd. (acquired by Goldcorp Inc.) and Gabriel Resources Ltd.
Ms. Ramcharan holds a Certified Professional Investor Relations designation from the Richard Ivey School of Business and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI), and has been a professional member of CIRI for the past eleven years. She is an industry speaker at a number of IR related events and has been a judge for the Chartered Professional Accountants' Corporate Reporting Awards for the past four years.
