AUTEV AG: Capital measure for production expansion

(Brandenburg an der Havel, May 27, 2011) Yesterday, AUTEV AG announced in
the eBundesanzeiger, that the company will carry out a capital increase
through subscription rights from authorized capital. Shareholders will be
entitled to purchase one new share for every four existing old shares held
(subscription ratio 4:1). As a result, up to 192,384 new shares of the
company can be subscribed during the subscription period from the 30th May,
2011 until the 13th June, 2011. The subscription price per share will be
EUR 15.00 resulting in up to EUR 2.89 million in new capital received by
the company.
The financial resources from the capital increase will be used primarily
for the targeted expansion of the production capacities in the LED business
area. Due to the strong demand, production will be running at full capacity
over the coming months. In line with this, a new project company has been
founded for which the AUTEV consultant Mr. Thomas Gombas, (formerly
responsible for the expansion of the European sales of the American
lighting manufacturer CREE), will be leading the project company as CEO.
'Through the expansion of the production capacities we will be able to
provide this very profitable market with a larger number of top quality
high technology lamps. Sales potential is enormous as well as the industry
demand - as a result of the savings potential from day one -', the
satisfied and optimistic CEO Thomas Gombas summed up.
