AUTEV AG: Cooperation agreement for production, distribution and
development - International market entry for AuLED lights from

(Brandenburg an der Havel, May 31, 2011) In April 2011 AUTEV AG, based in
Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, signed a cooperation agreement with
Vinic Co. Ltd., based in Bangkok, Thailand, regarding production and
marketing of AuLED lights. Vinic is one of the market leaders for indoor
and outdoor lighting in Southeast Asia. This contract provides AUTEV with
both the
market entry in the Asian market, and the exploitation of the Vinic
distribution network for own and future generations of LED lights in the
USA, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Great Britain and other countries
in Northern Europe.
For joint LED products, AUTEV will deliver all the internal components to
Thailand; while Vinic produces the casings, and assembles packages and
delivers the lights. Products will be marketed under the Vinic brand in
Thailand and elsewhere under the AuLED brand. European distribution rights
remain solely and completely with AUTEV. Also, R&D for new products, based
on AuLED technology, is planned with AUTEV engineers on-site, within the
framework of the cooperation agreement.
AUTEV proves the tangible, economic benefits of its future-oriented AuLED
technology: energy reduction of minimum 40 %, more than 50,000 hours
operating time with minimized maintenance cost and an amortization period
of approximately two years; as well as the environmental benefits from
these lights, as they are free of heavy metals, minimize nitrous gases and
are 100 % recyclable. As a result, the company considers itself to be
perfectly positioned for the international competition.
'Two factors have been critical during the decision-making-progress for
Vinic as a cooperation partner; on the one hand, the company already has 21
years of experience in the lighting industry and has achieved considerable
growth. On the other hand, Vinic products assure conformity with current
German DIN/VDE- and European EN standards and certifications', explains Tim
David, member of the board of AUTEV.
Vinic is also looking forward to success and continued growth as a result
of the cooperation. President Vichien Nithascharukul emphasizes: 'Together
with AUTEV, we can serve the growing demand for LED lights, simultaneously
benefitting from the innovative AuLED technology while setting new
benchmarks in the lighting industry. Products 'made in Germany' are also a
respected sign of quality in Thailand.
