Hamburg, Germany, 30 June 2011. The Supervisory Board of TOM TAILOR Holding
AG has appointed Dr Marc Schumacher (33) to its Management Board with
effect from 1 July 2011. In this newly created Management Board position he
will be responsible for the Group's retail activities. With this
appointment, the Company is reflecting the importance of its TOM TAILOR
stores to its continued growth.
The global responsibility for retail areas controlled by TOM TAILOR will be
overseen by this new retail management department. The new Management Board
member's responsibilities will include expansion of the Group's
self-managed retail space and the systematic development of its trade
marketing activities so as to maximise the brand experience for consumers.
The TOM TAILOR Management Board anticipates that this will make its
continued expansion into its domestic and foreign core markets all the more
focused and efficient.
Dr Marc Schumacher joined the TOM TAILOR Group in 2008 and most recently
held the position of Director of Retail&International Marketing. Before
joining TOM TAILOR, he worked for the Breuninger Group and HUGO BOSS.

Group's retail activities sends out a clear message concerning the
significance of this area to the ongoing growth of TOM TAILOR. The
Supervisory and Management Boards are certain that this is the perfect time
to take this step. Dr Schumacher has done some excellent work in this area
in recent years and will no doubt systematically further the Group's
expansion,' said Uwe Schröder, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TOM
TAILOR Holding AG.
Sales in the Retail segment increased by 35 percent to EUR 27.4 million in
the first quarter of 2011 (Q1 2010: EUR 20.3 million). In the first half of
2011, TOM TAILOR opened 57 self-managed retail stores and now operates more
than 200 of them. In all, the Company intends to open between 60 and 70 new
retail stores in the course of this year.
