New Seafood Spot Set to Make a Splash with Fun, Fresh Fare
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/20/14 -- , the highly-anticipated new concept from Chase Hospitality Group (CHG), will dock in Toronto's Financial District on Tuesday October 21st. The restaurant, open daily from 11 am to 8 pm, will offer a gourmet seafood-to-go experience with a menu that includes fish sandwiches, seafood rolls, whole lobster, and more.
Located at 4 Temperance Street in the historic Dineen Building, Little Fin's offerings were developed by the culinary team behind next-door neighbour The Chase Fish & Oyster. "Little Fin's menu has a classic sensibility with fun, unique elements, such as our black sesame buns and fancy sauces," said Nigel Finley, Executive Chef of both Little Fin and The Chase Fish & Oyster.
Guests can opt to enjoy big eye tuna, crispy haddock, salmon, or a burger on a black sesame or gluten-free bun, with crispy potatoes and garden slaw, or atop a seaweed salad. Seafood rolls, like the lobster hot dog and crispy rock shrimp, are served on house-baked sesame challah. Extras include "sea-sides" such as sweet potato lobster chowder and chili-spiced broccoli, as well as fresh pressed juice, cold beer, and ice cream sandwiches. Equally excellent for dine-in, take-out, or catered meals, the menu utilizes fresh, high-quality ingredients as its foundation.
In anticipation of its grand opening, Little Fin launched , an experiential campaign that invites passersby to spin the "Fin Wheel" and post a photo to their social media handles with the hashtag #FromWhereISwim. Participants win one of four menu items and are entered into a draw for a catered meal for 10-12 people. The ongoing campaign has been met with enthusiasm, a sentiment shared by the Little Fin team.
