HELMA Eigenheimbau AG reports sales growth in first half of 2011
Lehrte, July 7, 2011 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for individual
solid construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, reports a
consolidated net new order intake (of houses and land) of EUR 53.7 million
in the first six months of the 2011 financial year (H1 2010: EUR 49.2
million). This represents order growth of around 9% compared to the already
very good new order figures of the same period of the previous year, for
which the flourishing project business in the HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH area
was primarily responsible.
As a consequence, the HELMA Group is well on its way at the mid-year stage
to realising double-digit percentage sales growth again on a full-year
view. It should be noted in this context that HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH,
which was founded at the start of this financial year, will make its
first-time contribution to the HELMA Group's sales success in the second
half of 2011 (with its first project at Glowe on the German island of
Rügen). Further growth in the already very good sales figures from the
property development business is also to be anticipated in the coming six
months. The HELMA Group will in all likelihood report significant land
purchases as early as the third quarter of 2011, which will sustainably
underpin this positive trend.
In overall terms, this would form a solid order base for the targeted
significant sales growth of 25% in the 2012 financial year to reach a level
of EUR 125 million. The revenue forecast of approximately EUR 100 million
for the 2011 financial year that was announced in March (FY 2010: EUR 74.5
million) is confirmed by the construction status trend in the first half of
the current financial year.

September 28, 2011.
