Sphero Strengthens Board With Addition of Renowned Gaming Luminary Mike Capps, Ph.D.
(firmenpresse) - BOULDER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/21/14 -- , formerly known as Orbotix, announced today that it has appointed , a gaming industry veteran and former president of Epic Games, to its board of directors. He joins as the company's first independent director.
While at Epic Games, Capps led the development and creation of the award-winning , a widely used suite of integrated tools for game developers. He also managed all of Epic's tech and game products, including the billion-dollar franchise Gears of War.
Additionally, Mike currently serves on the board of directors of a number or videogame companies and industry organizations including Remedy Entertainment and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS).
