California Community Colleges Facilitating Academic and Business Community Collaboration


(firmenpresse) - OAKLAND, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/24/14 -- The Global Trade & Logistics Deputy Sector Navigators for the Doing What Matters initiative will host a visiting delegation from China at the Port of Oakland on October 30, 2014, as part of its ongoing effort to build relationships and collaboration within and between the academic and business communities.

The twenty delegates represent China, City Wuhan Education Bureau, Wuhan Business University, and Jianghan University and are in the SF Bay Area to learn more about the operations of major cargo companies and the best practices in business logistics and supply chain management from the perspective of American companies, and to discuss the growth and future of Global Logistics.

"We are pleased to facilitate connection for this delegation with industry and academic leaders from the San Francisco East Bay global trade and logistics community," said Petural 'PJ' Shelton, Deputy Sector Navigator Global Trade and Logistics for the San Francisco 'Interior East Bay' region spanning San Francisco, Contra Costa and Marin counties.
