Social entertainment platform migme Limited (migme or the Company) has partnered with Indonesian electronic payment provider DOKU to deliver more payment options and point-of-sale channels to migmes users in the Southeast Asian country.
migme has a credits system that allows users to deepen their level of engagement in the service, by using these credits to purchase premium virtual goods including gifts, avatar items and sticker packs and to play premium games. Users can purchase these credits directly from the Company or through migme resellers (Merchants).
The Company has signed on as a DOKU Enterprise Merchant, providing migme and its resellers with the ability to accept payments from users via a broader set of payment options thereby reducing transactional friction. DOKU is Indonesias largest and leading electronic payment provider with over 2,000 merchants in its portfolio.
migme Chief Executive Officer Steven Goh said: We are excited to be adding DOKUs payment channels to migme. With DOKU, Indonesian users will have the ability to buy credits using Internet banking, ATM transfer (all ATM networks in Indonesia: including ATM Bersama, Prima and Alto)), convenience stores (over 9,000 via the Alfa group) and via their 90,000 active DOKU Wallet users.

The agreement with DOKU builds a payment foundation that will capitalise on migmes recent growth efforts in Indonesia, which is a market of more than 200 million mobile phone subscribers.
It follows migmes recent partnership with Smartfren, through which the migme app. was pre-loaded onto 700,000 Andromax C3 mobile handsets in September; and the Companys partnership with Universal Music Indonesia, which is expected to drive growth in engagement and monetisation opportunities by providing access to a portfolio of artists and entertainment content.
