Volkswagen Canada Maintains Record Sales Pace in October

2015 Golf and Jetta Remain Top-Sellers

(firmenpresse) - AJAX, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/03/14 -- Brisk sales at during the month of October helped the company stay firmly on course for a 5th straight annual record. A total of 5,276 new cars and light trucks were delivered from its 136 dealers, bringing the year-to-date number to 56,443. This represents a 5% increase over the 53,758 sold during the same ten month period last year.

Volkswagen's best-selling car remains the sedan, with the 2,235 sold in October driving year-to-date sales to 27,451. The 2015 Jetta has seen an elegant restyling both inside and out, and now offers the latest driver safety aids including blind spot awareness, forward collision warning and rear cross traffic alert.

Sales of the Golf family of cars rose to 1,543 for the month. The all-new, 7th generation 2015 and , combined with the offer consumers European style and sophistication in a fun-to-drive package designed to meet the needs of every driver.
