BMO Capital Markets Announces Senior Executive Appointments

BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking division of BMO Financial Group (NYSE: BMO)(TSX: BMO), today announced senior executive appointments to its investment banking and trading products businesses.
Perry Hoffmeister has been appointed Global Head of Investment and Corporate Banking. Since 2010, Mr. Hoffmeister has been the Head of BMO's Investment and Corporate banking business in the United States.
Luke Seabrook has been appointed Global Head of Trading Products, and will be responsible for Equity Products, Foreign Exchange Products, Financial Products, Debt Products and Securitization.
"I am confident that the leadership team we have in place will build on our existing successes within the Canadian market as well as continuing our momentum in the US and in select global markets," said Darryl White, Group Head of BMO Capital Markets. "These appointments demonstrate the deep bench strength across our businesses and our commitment to continue to increase our US market share in the mid-cap space," said Mr. White.
Mr. Hoffmeister, in turn, today announced the appointment of Peter Myers as Head of Investment and Corporate Banking US, based in Chicago. Mr. Myers has been Head of Investment and Corporate Banking Canada and International for the past six years.
Mr. Hoffmeister also announced the appointment of Dan Barclay to Head of Investment and Corporate Banking Canada and International, after five years as Head of Canadian M&A. John Armstrong, a senior member of the M&A group, is appointed Head of Canadian M&A.
