Imtech: Investigation past issues

Since the discovery in February 2013 of past irregularities Imtech has adopted a
policy of actively investigating issues that are brought to its attention from
time to time, communicating openly on findings if warranted and always
cooperating with authorities if applicable. In general these issues relate to
the past. Often Imtech is not able to comment on speculation in the media, in
particular when issues are being brought to the attention of the media prior to
the conclusion of the investigations.
This is also the case with allegations of possible competition law violations in
the period 2008-2010 which Imtech received recently through a whistleblower on
two projects in the Energy sector performed by the German organization.
Investigations were immediately started by our GRC (Governance, Risk and
Compliance) department, assisted by external investigators and advisors. So far
the investigations have not confirmed competition law violations. However, the
investigations are still ongoing.
Unfortunately, issues or allegations from the past might continue to come up.
That is a reality that Imtech has to deal with. It is the firm commitment of
Imtech's new management to properly deal with these legacy issues.
