(firmenpresse) - GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS -- (Marketwired) -- 11/10/14 -- Tethys Petroleum Limited ("Tethys" or the "Company") (TSX: TPL) (LSE: TPL) today announced that Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, Non-Executive Director, has stepped down from the Board of Directors of Tethys (the "Board") with immediate effect.
The Board commented, "We are grateful for the contribution that Ambassador Khalilzad has made to the Company with his extensive experience and knowledge of the area in which Tethys operates and wish him well for the future."
Tethys is focused on oil and gas exploration and production activities in Central Asia and the Caspian Region. This highly prolific oil and gas area is rapidly developing and Tethys believes that significant potential exists in both exploration and in discovered deposits.
