New from W&H: Prophylaxis contra-angle handpiece with 2.35 mm push-button chucking system!

(PresseBox) - W&H is now offering an important addition to the Proxeo range: The straight and contra-angle handpiece prophylaxis range now includes a contra-angle handpiece with a 2.35 mm push-button chucking system. The new fully rotating drive is suitable for all conventional brushes and caps with a 2.35 mm shank.
The advantages of the Proxeo WP-66 M: compared to the standard step-down ratios handpiece that is frequently used for restoration, this contra-angle handpiece has a considerably longer lifespan and, above all, is more hygienic. This is because a specially designed sealing system prevents polishing paste from entering the head and gears of the instrument - normally a very high-risk area for standard contra-angle handpieces. This reduces the risk of premature wear and unnecessary service costs. In terms of the cost, the purchase price of the Proxeo WP-66 M is also extremely competitive as compared to handpieces with internal irrigation that are frequently used for restoration.
At the same time, the WP-66 M works more efficiently than oscillating prophy contra-angle handpieces, because the fully rotating motion of the WP-66 M ensures a significantly more powerful polishing effect. The slow rotation due to the 4:1 step-down ratio also prevents the paste from spattering.
Yet another feature is the simpler operation of the new Proxeo WP-66 M compared with conventional screw versions: a push-button makes it possible to exchange a wide range of brushes and caps safely and quickly.
