Manitou Gold Announces Board and Management Changes
(firmenpresse) - SUDBURY, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/14/14 -- Manitou Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE: MTU) (the "Corporation" or "Manitou") announces that Mr. Harold Tracanelli Getn, P.Geo, has been appointed as Interim President and as a director of the Corporation. Mr. Tracanelli has been actively involved as a consulting exploration geologist in the mineral exploration industry for over 30 years, including an assortment of grass roots through to intermediate and advanced precious and base metal industrial minerals projects, throughout North America.
Manitou also announces that in accordance with a change in strategic direction of the Corporation, Mr. Todd Keast has ceased to act as President and Chief Executive Officer and has resigned from the Board of Directors. The Corporation also reports that Mr. Garett Macdonald has resigned from the Board of Directors.
Manitou thanks both Messrs. Keast and Macdonald for their services provided to the Corporation.
