Highland Copper-Correction to Notice of Annual Meeting
(firmenpresse) - LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 11/17/14 -- Highland Copper Company Inc. (TSX VENTURE: HI) ("Highland" or the "Company") reports that it has filed on SEDAR an amended notice of meeting correcting an error in item 3 of the notice of meeting mailed to shareholders in respect of the annual general and special meeting of Highland scheduled to be held on December 9, 2014 (the "Meeting").
The corrected text of item 3 reads as follows:
"to re-appoint KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants, as auditors of the Company for the financial year ending June 30, 2015 and to authorize the directors to fix their remuneration."
The resolution on item 6 will be proposed at the Meeting in the form set out above. The information circular and form of proxy mailed to shareholders contain the correct information. The corrected notice of meeting, along with the form of proxy and the information circular are available on SEDAR and on the Company's website at .
