Mayor's Christmas Food Drive Kick-off

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/17/14 -- There will be some serious competition this Friday afternoon, with corporate and media teams vying for the coveted Gold Shopping Cart Award.

The kick-off event for the Mayor's Annual Christmas Food Drive has become a friendly competition where teams race to fill their shopping cart, use food items to construct a food structure while being judged for their creativity and team spirit.

The 26th Annual Mayor's Christmas Food Drive runs through Dec 24th, 2014.

In 2013, the campaign total was more than $685,000 in food & funds.
