: Working America Health Care announces the opening of an office in Portland, where workers not covered by an employer or union health insurance plan can connect with licensed professionals to purchase coverage, discuss concerns and ask questions about Obamacare. Oregonians who cannot visit a local office can still get help through the Working America Health Care program's hotline or by visiting .
: The Portland office is now open for drop-in visits every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The office will be closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 27.
The Portland office will be open for drop-in visits during office hours through the end of enrollment. The Working America Health Care program may hold additional office hours in this location, as well as visit additional locations in Portland, between now and Feb. 15, 2015.

: Working America Health Care is a consumer advocacy program that helps working-class Americans learn about health insurance marketplaces; connect with licensed brokers to better understand their options and purchase coverage; and receive the most out of their health insurance plans and budgets.
Even those looking to renew last year's plan can benefit by checking out the Working America Health Care program before "auto-renewing" their plan. Purchasing a plan through licensed brokers affiliated with Working America Health Care costs the same as purchasing through another broker or on a public exchange and includes access to added member benefits at no additional cost, including:
Dental and vision care savings plans provided by Union Plus
Health Advocate service for assistance with coverage and claims questions as well as a nurse helpline
Free membership in Working America
