Strategic Partnership Altice - CTT

Altice and CTT, the Portuguese postal services provider, have agreed today the
terms of a partnership to develop and offer joint services in Portugal, subject
to Altice's successful acquisition of PT Portugal.
Altice recognises the strategic industrial expertise and management know-how
in various areas complementary to the business of PT Portugal. The partnership
with CTT is expected to be mutually beneficial and generate significant value
for both partners.
Altice and CTT have agreed to work closely together to identify and develop
areas of co-operation. Amongst other things, the alliance with CTT will focus
on co-operation in the distribution of telecommunications services and products
and the development of new business ventures to address the growth of e-commerce
and financial services in Portugal .
CTT has stated that it welcomes the opportunity to partner with Altice in
Portugal and tap into Altice's experience in the French market, where its
subsidiary Numericable-SFR has a far reaching partnership with La Poste -
which now has over 1 million mobile subscribers.
This agreement is subject to Altice being successful in the purchase of PT
Portugal.
